Century-old, pre-phylloxera, dry-farmed Carignan that spends two years in mixed vessels-stainless steel, cement and neutral oak. Complex and lingering on the palate, slowly unfolding all it's stories it has to tell. Damson and blackberried fruit, forest floor and exotic spices balanced by fine grained tannins. A wine that embodies the essence of the wild, rugged Roussillon yet remains silky and finessed.
