100% Carignan, from roughly 90-year-old vines on marl and sandstone soils. A blend of three different plots located in Paziols in the Aude. A destemmed, semi-carbonic maceration wine that shows a lot of character similar to a cru Beaujolais. Ripe summer bramble, electric blueberry, dried wildflower petals and brush whiffs. Blueberry follows through on the palate with black cherry gummies, and a punch of bright salty lingonberry acidity. Fresh, with no lack of complexity. A true all occasions red.
