Spanish winemaker Mauricio Veloso Estuardo started the Escándalo project in 2013 to showcase old vine plantings throughout Chile. Mauricio sources naturally farmed fruit from all over Chile to make single varietal expressions of traditional plantings. This bottle of Sémillon comes from 60 year old vines planted in the Colchagua Valley. Grapes are hand harvested and directly pressed in to stainless steel.

The lushness of this wine is perfect for ceviche or even red meats like lamb.
