Zweigelt from parcels in the village of Furth. Vines average 30 years grown on mixed soils of primary rock, loess, and gravel from the Danube River. Natural fermentation and aged in large old oak casks for 12 months.

Aromas of black plum, blackberry, cherry with dark earth, spice, black pepper, floral on the nose. Medium-bodied with good richness on the palate, deep red/black fruit with earthy undertones, fresh acidity, round texture, soft tannin, good length with spice notes on the finish.
