Our favourite natty darling in her iconic ceramic OUTFIT is BAAAAACK. And she’s drinking better than ever. The current/2017 vintage is a masterclass in effortless perfection. One of the first things you’ll notice is bright, mouth-watering acidity. It’s like biting into a juicy, crunchy bruised apple then realizing you’ve fallen through a trap door that leads to a secret garden where honey bees are hosting a tea party. CRONCHY.
This is a monumental wine. Well-balanced, interesting, layered, deep, refreshing, moving, takes herself kinda seriously because she’s worked really hard to get to where she is, has so much to offer.
You get tropical fruit, passionfruit, jackfruit, honey (the kind in the bear-shaped bottle), grippy (but not greedy) tannins (think green tea, black tea mouth sensations), robust dried citrus peel, dried apricot, bruised apple, crunchy Fuji apple, and Salt Bae.
