Grenache Gris and Muscat from Roussillon blended with Riesling and Auxerrois from Alsace. Skin macerated for two weeks. The grapes then spend time both in amphorae and old barrels before bottling.
Not shy in the slightest right out of the bottle. Ripe, peppery, tropical fruits and orange blossom water dominate the nose with tons of lift from a more than manageable level of VA. The palate is bursting with energy and acidity which satisfies a backdrop of creamy mandarin. Well-weighted, but wholly bustling with piquancy and floral/tropical character.
