Grown on the finest limestone soils the Koppitsches Burgenland vineyards have to offer, this blend of 70% Blaufränkisch & 30% Saint Laurent is aged in on gross lees in barrique for 2 years, giving us lots of woodsy “smoking a pipe in an oxblood leather armchair” vibes and rich texture on the palate. Drinks light & fresh, its earthy/smoky character balanced by a pure & precise hit of limestone minerality.
